Anthony R. Chornes, N.D., Ph.D.
Anthony R. Chornes, ND, Ph.D. is a Traditional Naturopath. He has worked as a licensed healthcare practitioner for a decade and in the field of natural health and wellness for more than 20 years. Dr. Chornes specializes in non-invasive, lifestyle consultations, offering an individualized approach that educates clients how to apply natural lifestyle approaches that can act to facilitate the body’s natural healing and health building potential. He holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, Tennessee (2006). He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Original Medicine (2012), Master of Science in Original Medicine (2014) and Doctor of Naturopathy in Original Medicine (2016) from The International Institute of Original Medicine in Smithfield, Virginia. He has traveled internationally to countries such as Africa, England, and France, as well as extensively in the continental United States lecturing, consulting and empowering people to restore their health naturally.
Tawana Chornes, BA., LC.
Tawana Chornes, BA., LC. is a Lifestyle Consultant. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College in Chicago IL. She is currently completing the Health Coaching Certificate Program at the Vanderbilt School of Nursing, which is approved by the International Consortium for Health & Wellness Coaching (ICHWC). The International Consortium for Health & Wellness Coaching (ICHWC), along with the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME), which offers the only national certification examination for health and wellness coaches. As a Lifestyle Consultant, Tawana instructs our clients to develop and maintain the knowledge and skills needed to adopt habits of healthy eating and physical activity. She also supports clients by providing information, encouraging progress, and working with individuals to address any challenges or barriers that may arise. To ensure the best service, she maintains books, client files, and inventory. She organizes on and off-site presentations, demonstrations, and seminars. Tawana also lectures for live events, classes, and workshops on and off-site.
Bettie Chornes, RN.
Bettie Chornes is a Registered Nurse with nearly 30 years of experience working as a traveling nurse, agency nurse, and home health care nurse. She has also worked in the critical care units at John Hopkins for 9 years. She earned her nursing degree at Oakwood University of Huntsville, Alabama. Bettie is Certified in natural health and wellness and has worked in this field for the past eight years. With a combined knowledge of traditional medicine coupled with her understanding of natural health, she can best assist our clients to mitigate and reverse chronic health conditions within this conscientious framework.
Helene Cohn, RN, BSN, MSN
Helene Cohn, RN, BSN, MSN is a nurse educator with 30+ years of experience in clinical practice with the breadth of her experience being in Oncology Nursing, working at the bedside, in research, and as a breast health navigator. In addition to her extensive clinical experience, Helene also has an outstanding academic background as an Instructor of nursing at several private and proprietary schools. Helene joined our team 5 years ago upon realizing that the combination of clinical and academic education and experience has brought her to the point where a wholistic approach is critical to excellent client care. Wholistic care that considers not only the clients physical but also the spiritual, mental, emotional and social needs which she has been able to address here at Valere.
